The genocide Museum left a deep impression that will be engraved onto my heart for a long time. As I walked along to quiet corridors of the classrooms, and peered into the windows of the torture chamber, a sense of sorrow filled me. Standing in the classrooms that many were tortured and killed in the past made me imagine how the prisoners struggled to live, moaning and crying for the lives to be spared...

As I walked through the whole gallery looking at the pictures of the torturing and the killing of the prisoners it made me realise I am fortunate to live in Singapore. If not for this I would have never realise that I am very lucky to be a Singaporean. It was an eye-opening experience for me. I feel that everyone should have a chance to experience what I had experienced.

I feel so bad for these people who have suffered during the Khmer Rouge Regime. The Pol Pot ruling was inhumane, cold and heartless. They bring much suffering to innocent lives and this is only one of the places which all these suffering took place. Since then, sense of hatred to the Khmer Rouge fills my heart. I wish the Khmer Rouge official gets heavy punishment for what they have done.
